Abstract

In this editorial exercise, a discussion is proposed regarding the potential and limitations of the use of Artificial Intelligence in the field of architecture, urbanism, design and disciplines related to the collective construction of the city, countryside and territory. ChatGPT was used as a support tool for the generation of the text; also, as an input to understand the point of view of the application itself on the subject in question. The texts generated by Artificial Intelligence were compared with the authors' analyzes on the subject, supported by referents who have anticipated the impact of these tools in their work, which today are a reality in the practice of design and architecture. and that indisputably must be understood to adapt to the requirements of new workflows in the new contemporary normality.
