Today it is possible to tackle simple construction processes, without the need for advanced knowledge or specialized labor, as digital tools allow it. . This text seeks to reflect on the impact that digital manufacturing methods and open source design have generated on Architecture, through the construction of a self-supporting structure in Madrid, recognizing new trends and valuating the possible characteristics of a new Architecture focused on solve local problems.
2020-07-15T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) https://revistas.cecar.edu.co/index.php/procesos-urbanos/article/view/e497 Urban mobility in the context of smart cities: a bibliometric and content analysis 2020-11-22T02:44:21-05:00 José Vinícius Silva-Martins contato.jvsmartins@gmail.com Pastor Willy Gonzales-Taco pwgtaco@gmail.com
This article intends to present how the dimensions of urban mobility have been discussed in the context of smart cities in academic articles. For that, an exploratory study of the literature was applied through a bibliometric analysis for the quantitative verification of the data and content for the qualitative evaluation. From a refinement, 377 articles were found between 2012 and 2020. The main results point to an increase in publications on the subject and show that urban mobility portrays a new stage, provided by technological innovations, which is being characterized as intelligent mobility.
2020-11-21T04:42:51-05:00 Copyright (c) 2020 Procesos Urbanos https://revistas.cecar.edu.co/index.php/procesos-urbanos/article/view/499 Live - Inhabit – Live (together) with: Five reflections on sustainability for Architect training 2020-10-23T02:07:04-05:00 María Auxiliadora Linares-Bermúdez mariaauxlinares@fad.luz.edu
Respect for habitable spaces must start from a system of values that promote good practices for doing. This reflection is part of a diagnosis on the praxis in the setting of the Architectural Design learning process, to guide students towards projecting proposals with sustainability criteria, beyond recurring theoretical positions. Five reflections are addressed as questions, arising from the concern for sustainability, its practice in living spaces, the teaching experience of Architectural Design, as well as considerations about the academic doing of Architecture.
2020-09-30T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) 2020 https://revistas.cecar.edu.co/index.php/procesos-urbanos/article/view/e502 Design of experimental folding roofs under wind and earthquake load factors 2020-11-18T02:39:45-05:00 Carlos Cesar Morales-Guzmán dr.arqmorales@gmail.com
The following research was developed on folding roofs, where the issue of load factors in said roofs was addressed, since this type of structures is not fully regulated, so experimental load combinations are contemplated for the design of non—passable roofs, which are established in the Federal District Construction Regulations (RCDF—2014), and the CFE wind design manual (MDVCFE—2015). Combinatorial loads are reviewed with a software called WinTess, which performs structural simulations considering a structural membrane as a stiffener. The result will be the dimensioning of the structure.
2020-10-30T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) 2020 ©2020 Los Autor(es). The materials that were used to build each area were based on the person who inhabited it. The material fulfilled a constructive function, but also a scale of value within the financial social structure. These basic materials have proven themselves over the years. Promoting their restoration and giving life to these spaces would be a way for the materials and construction systems to be valued.
2020-10-30T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) https://revistas.cecar.edu.co/index.php/procesos-urbanos/article/view/e510 Memory, Heritage, Consumption and Oblivion 2020-12-15T11:43:04-05:00 Juan Carlos Pérgolis-Valsecchi pergolisjuancarlos@yahoo.com Estefanía Quijano-Gómez estefania.quijano12@hotmail.com
The Plaza-circus-theater La Serrezuela, in Cartagena, a place for collective enjoyment, was replaced by a shopping center, with a simulation of the old Plaza. The change from the communal ritual of the spectacle to the individualistic entertainment of consumption destroyed passion in all activities. Several buildings in Medellín and Bogotá were transformed and demolished to give way to activities based on the individualism of leisure as a support for consumption. Heritage buildings with a great presence in urban memory, representatives of the spirit of time in each city, show that there are moments in history in which society chooses oblivion.
2020-11-30T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) https://revistas.cecar.edu.co/index.php/procesos-urbanos/article/view/e511 Architecture from a Philosophy of Life 2020-12-15T11:42:39-05:00 Joely Ariagny Sulbarán-Sandoval joely.sulbaran@fad.luz.edu.ve Alejandro Jesús Guerrero-Torrenegra alejandro.torrenegra@correounivalle.edu.co
Valuing is a human act by nature, but valuing the human being from Architecture seeks the correct interpretation of living. The present research aims to study the valuation of being through architectural responses, based on knowledge of the habits, events and ways of life of the inhabitants; ranking the importance of evaluating these acts for the proper solution to human needs. Since it is about human behavior as a study for living, the hermeneutical method is used for the discussion of different theories that allow the interpretation of human reality through philosophy and, even more, trying to raise awareness about its importance as a foundation of the existence of being. It concludes with a definition of the Architecture of Life, which is based on the theory of the Philosophy of Life and that allows to erect Architecture from the knowledge of being, encouraging its empowerment.
2020-12-05T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) https://revistas.cecar.edu.co/index.php/procesos-urbanos/article/view/e512 Social Relations in Times of Social Isolation and the Contributions of ICT: Perceptions and Reflections in the Bauru-SP Region 2020-12-22T09:17:02-05:00 David Gustavo Pompei gustavopompei07@gmail.com Camila Roberta Muniz-Serra camilaserra@ite.edu.br Cassiana Anunciata Caglioni cassiana.caglioni@unesp.br
Due to Covid-19 and social isolation, new ways of relating were adopted through ICT. In this perspective, the objective of this work seeks to discuss how social relationships were impacted by them during the present period, as well as the challenges of social interaction. The methodology included a bibliographic review, field research and analysis of questionnaires applied through a Facebook group. As preliminary results, it was reflected that the local-global crisis brought progress and setbacks. Therefore, ICT contributed to the new configurations of social relationships and interactions in the city of Bauru. It is emphasized that these technologies still do not overcome the interactions developed in the personal sphere.
2020-12-15T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c)
